Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Favorite Bible Verse: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
Favorite Adoption Story: I have been greatly impacted by several adoption stories! I could talk adoption stories all day long. It all started 20 years ago after my sister experienced the heartbreak of several miscarriages and decided to pursue domestic adoption. The whole process was so amazing and my nephew's life has had a dramatic impact on me. After Jacob came into our world, my sister and her husband proceeded to adopt four more children - one domestic, two from Congo, and one from Uganda. My sister's family has been an absolute inspiration to us and has opened our hearts the wonderful world of adoption. My husband and I, along with our three biological children, felt the call to get more involved in orphan care. We became a foster family and have adopted our beautiful daughter, fostered ten kids, and we are currently in the process of adopting two more precious babies that we are madly in love with! In our eight years of fostering, several of those kids have gone to adoptive families and every story has been so unique and special. We have experienced God's presence and felt His hand in every one of these stories. It has just been a truly incredible gift to be a part of each of these journeys.
Responsibilities: As an administrative assistant, my duties include answering phones, e-mails, and questions from families and assisting with all office management tasks. I also maintain and update waiting child profiles and advocate for children and families.
