Favorite Adoption Story: My favorite story of adoption are actually two stories; those of the adoption of my daughters. The story continued when my younger daughter’s birth mother contacted us when my daughter was nine years old. She and her husband later a adopted a newborn through us. My older daughter is an R.N. and she and her husband have two children. She created a lifebook that she sent to her birth mother.

Responsibilities: Laura is the Director of Counseling at Nightlight. Laura has been in the adoption field for over twenty years and was instrumental in getting Nightlight licensed in SC, GA, and FL. Laura is responsible for providing counseling and support to families interested in placing their children for adoption through the ReNewed Hope program. Laura is an expert on attachment and feeding issues. She is passionate about educating and equipping her families with the tools they need to be successful.
