Favorite Bible Verse: Deuteronomy 10:18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
Favorite Adoption Story: My husband and I were Nightlight foster parents and we had a sibling group of 4 precious children placed with us, 2 in high school, 1 in middle school, and 1 in elementary school. They expected to be reunited with their parents, but their parents soon both passed away in separate tragedies. An aunt and uncle across the country stepped up and completed all the steps to adopt the children. I often think about the relief the children felt when they realized they would be adopted by family members. I would love to say that I was never impatient or doubtful, but that was not the case. It is both humbling and a great consolation to think back about how God kept His hand over these kids, working out the details on their behalf.
Education: Bachelors of Science from the University of Georgia
Responsibilities: Recruiting and serving expectant parents and conducting home studies and post placement services for domestic families, international families, and families and children in the Anchored in Hope and Renewed Hope programs.
