Our story is a vivid reminder that while our journey may not always align with our prayers, God’s love and purpose are constant.
We learned about the Snowflakes Program and knew it would be right for our family. We were already familiar with embryo transfers, and we loved the idea of me being able to carry our children in pregnancy and for us to bond with our child from before the child was born.
Copeland’s story is so special, and we praise God for the honor of being his parents and getting to share the intricacies of this story with him.
To anyone considering adoption in any form, we hope our story inspires you to take that leap of faith. You never know what miracles might be waiting for you.
Life got harder when we were diagnosed with infertility. I then remembered hearing about another route we could take–embryo adoption.
Psalm 128:3 is circled again, and again, in red: “Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.” A note to the side reads: What about for us?
How could we avoid pass them along to our kids? Snowflakes!
We called to learn more and ask questions about the program. The Snowflakes team member gave us the confidence we needed to move forward – plus the compassion and kindness she showed to us helped us feel that Snowflakes was the right path for us.
Snowflakes’ “placing families” choose the adoptive parents, then those parents can say yes or no to the match.
