Our family’s journey has been one of profound challenges, great heartache, enormous grief, all deeply guided by God’s unwavering love and our steadfast hope in His plan. We faced the challenges of infertility early on in our marriage. Genetic counseling identified a chromosomal abnormality known as Robertsonian translocation. It was a struggle that tested us in ways we never imagined and we had to navigate a path filled with longing and unanswered prayers. Yet, through these trials, we clung to the belief that God’s purpose would prevail.
Our prayers for a child were answered with the birth of our first child, Paisley JoyAnn in 2015. In every aspect, our daughter exemplifies the virtues of light, joy, athleticism, and intelligence. We are profoundly grateful for the blessing she is, and we cherish the privilege of watching her grow and thrive.
After enduring an additional five years marked by infertility, loss, and numerous challenges, our son, Redding Arie, was conceived naturally and born in 2020. Our 14 months with him were filled with unparalleled joy; his presence illuminated our lives, and we cherished every moment of loving and nurturing him. Losing a child unexpectedly is an unimaginable heartbreak, leaving us with profound grief and sorrow.
Yet, in the midst of grief, God’s love carried us, and we trusted that His plan, though different from our own, was filled with purpose. Our decision to pursue embryo adoption led us to the adoption of three perfect embryos. Truitt Andrew was our first implanted embryo born in 2025. He is a testament to God’s perfect timing and love.
Our story is a vivid reminder that while our journey may not always align with our prayers, God’s love and purpose are constant. We are eternally grateful for the miracle of our family, knowing that through His love, He has given us the greatest blessings we could ever ask for. Our children’s presence is a testament to God’s faithfulness, reminding us daily that our hope in Him has brought us immeasurable blessings.
