International Spotlight: Colombia

Program Highlights

Nightlight’s Colombia Adoption Program stands out as one of the largest and most successful international adoption programs. This program is notably the fastest option for families open to adopting older children, offering a streamlined process and a wide range of support services.

Country and Culture

Colombia is a vibrant South American country with a warm Hispanic culture and a tropical climate. Despite facing challenges related to poverty, Colombia is dedicated to providing robust care for children through comprehensive nutrition, medical care, and therapy services. The country's commitment to child welfare is reinforced by its participation in the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption.
