Our hearts go out to you in this difficult time in your life. We are so glad that you are considering adoption. We know that God has a great plan for you and your baby's life. We would love to be a part of it!
Jonathan is from Minnesota and Amanda is (almost) a Colorado native. We met and fell in love at school and were married the following year in Loveland, Colorado. Because we are so close with our extended family, we wanted to live close to them. As Jonathan's parents were in Nigeria at the time, we decided to live in Colorado, where Amanda's whole family and Jonathan's sister were. (Jon's parents have since moved to Houston, but they visit as often as they can!)
We have three biological children, all boys: Caleb (5), Gavi (3), and Declan (almost 2). All three are fantastic, outgoing, and they fill our lives with love & joy. We never knew that we could love so deeply. It is this love that has moved us to bring "Fourby" (our name for the Fourth Baby) into our home.
We love Jesus and enjoy being an active part of the church body. We attend the men's and women's groups and take advantage of both Moms and Kids groups there. Jonathan works in the media department at Rez and Amanda works in the nursery. Caleb will attend Rez Christian School in the Fall and that is our plan for the education of all our children.
Jonathan launched the first of his companies last year and it has been incredibly successful. Amanda worked when we were first married, but God has blessed Jonathan's career such that Amanda can afford to stay at home with the children as a full time Mom.
We are choosing to adopt a fourth child both because we have always had a passion for adoption and we feel that we are called by God to do so. Our family is awesome and we know that Fourby will make it even awesomer!!
We live in a lovely two-story home with a finished basement. There are loads of kids in our beautiful, safe neighborhood that is away from major streets. We love to go to the community pool, and going on exploring walks. When the outdoors aren't an option, we are game lovers. The whole family enjoys reading, doing crafts, and trips to the Denver zoo. We have two fish tanks and will bring in more pets as time and space allow.
