Jeff & Polly

Jeff & Polly with three children

Dear Birthmother,

We cannot begin to imagine the courage and strength required to make such an important, selfless decision as the one you are faced with. We have never met you, yet we are all praying for you. Thank you for choosing to give life to this precious child created by God.

You are faced with an unplanned pregnancy, yet you obviously love this child you will give birth to. As parents of three children we sincerely appreciate the sacrificial love you are displaying by wanting to carefully choose a loving family for this child.

Let us briefly tell you about our family. My husband and I met each other in college sixteen years ago and have been happily married for thirteen years. We have three children, ages 9, 7, and 6. Family is an unspeakable joy, blessing, and utmost priority. We also enjoy wonderful relationships with our large, extended family.  When we had children I left my job as a pharmaceutical representative to become a full time mom and homemaker. It is a job I relish, making home cooked meals, volunteering at the children's schools and at church. My hobbies include snow skiing, travel, and managing our farm. My husband is a physician who enjoys helping people with challenging illnesses. Outside of work he enjoys snowboarding, reading, and traveling. Our children's education is a priority. We send them to a private Christian school where they are receiving an excellent education. Our children are active in sports such as basketball, dance, horseback riding, and karate. Our home is located on 25 acres of beautiful farmland with a creek and a view of the mountains. We have numerous farm animals who the children enjoy playing with and caring for. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle of skiing, traveling, playing on the farm, serving on mission trips, and visiting family.

You might ask why we would want to adopt if we already have three children? We could have pursued more biological children but have felt called by God to adopt. On our ten year wedding anniversary just the two of us took a trip. We discussed our lives together — past, present, future. It became clear that our future plans included adoption. We spent the entire trip excitedly discussing adoption. Furthermore, we have spent the last three years praying, researching, and preparing for the adoption of a child that we believe God has chosen to become a part of our family. We will love and cherish this child and teach this child of God's amazing love in Jesus. We would love to meet with you, if that is your preference. We also are willing to maintain a relationship with you after the baby is born.

Thank you for considering us as your child's adoptive family. You will continue to be in our prayers, whatever you decide.

Wishing you the best,

Polly and Jeff
