November is Adoption Awareness Month! Nightlight wants more people to be able to help the orphans worldwide who long for a family of their own . . . especially the children who have a harder time getting a family: they may be over 10, or maybe they just need some surgery so that they can live a full, rich life. And they would LOVE to have a family of their own.
Can you help us? Beginning November 1, 2010, Nightlight will be holding its first online auction to raise much needed funds to help orphans worldwide. Scholarships will be provided by Nightlight to families who want to adopt an older child or a child with a special need.

We need Auction items to add to our auction. Can you donate a vacation getaway, offer an interesting experience (like a flight over the countryside or an afternoon of sailing), a business or personal service, tickets to sporting or entertainment events, or anything else that sounds fun to bid on? We have an adopted child and I, we all love him as he is naarutl birth child. We have three kids brought into our family in three very different ways 1-natural birth, almost popped right out; 2-induced-emergency c-sect, and almost emergency surgery; and 3-adoption after his surgeries. Wow, they are all special and all loved.
