What great advice Danette and I think it aplipes to many adopted children. My daughter is much happier and more comfortable if I outline her day for her and explain what will happen when we are going into a new situation (like a vacation or an event like a wedding). Sometimes the unknown is overwhelming to kids. It's also good to remember to slow down and relax sometimes! Thanks for the great post.[]
