Our journey to building a family was not a simple or straightforward one—but it was one filled with faith, perseverance, and ultimately, incredible blessings.
Like many couples, we began with the hope and expectation that starting a family would happen naturally. When it didn’t, we were met with the heartbreaking realization that something wasn’t working. What followed were years of doctor visits, testing, and trying to understand why our dream of having children felt just out of reach.
We went through multiple rounds of IVF, holding onto hope each time, only to face disappointment again and again. Eventually, we reached a point where we were told that we were unable to produce viable eggs. That moment was incredibly difficult—it felt like the path we had envisioned was closing.
But even in that heartbreak, we chose not to give up.
We began exploring other options, searching for a path that felt right for our family. That journey led us to egg donation, and with it came countless hours of research, emotional reflection, and prayer. Finding the right doctor, the right clinic, and the right donor was not easy—but when everything finally aligned, we felt a deep sense of peace. We truly believed we were being guided to the path meant for us.
Even then, the journey was not without challenges. We experienced unsuccessful embryo transfers along the way. But through it all, we held onto faith and continued forward.
Today, we are beyond grateful to say that we are the parents of three beautiful, healthy children. They are everything we prayed for and more. After all the years of waiting, hoping, and overcoming obstacles, we cherish our family in a way that is difficult to put into words.
Because we were blessed with additional embryos, we felt a strong calling to help another family experience the same joy we had been given. We knew firsthand how much hope matters during this journey—how even a small glimpse of possibility can keep you going.
That is what led us to Snowflakes.
Through this process, we were able to donate our embryos to a wonderful family who had been walking a similar path. Today, they have a beautiful, healthy baby, and knowing that we were a small part of that miracle is something we will carry in our hearts forever.
To us, these embryos always represented life, hope, and possibility. Being able to give them a chance to grow into a family was incredibly meaningful.
