Donate to Nightlight Christian Adoptions

We invite you to join our efforts as we:

  • Help orphans in Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States find loving homes
  • Send humanitarian aid to orphanages
  • Protect the unborn and give frozen embryos a chance at life
  • Provide loving support and free counseling to women in unplanned pregnancies
  • Change perceptions of adoption to help people realize the blessings for all parties concerned

Employer Matching

In addition to ways that you can find funding for adoption, we want to make you aware of ways that you can support Nightlight. Because Nightlight is a non-profit organization, a portion of your fees is considered a tax deductible donation. If you have paid fees to Nightlight, please consider asking your employer to provide a grant to Nightlight to match your donation. This donation would be a general donation to offset other Nightlight costs and allow us to expand the services we provide to orphans and birth parents around the world. Here is a list of employers who make matching donations (PDF). Please know that this is not a comprehensive list of employers and you should definitely check with your HR department if your company is not listed at this link.

In addition, if your employer requires you to make donations through United Way, you can direct your Nightlight donation in the following way:

  1. Request a Donor Choice Form from your United Way coordinator
  2. Under the section titled "Specific Care" write in:
           Nightlight Christian Adoptions
[use address for CA or SC office, found here]

Cars 4 Causes

No matter where you live, you can call Cars 4 Causes at 1-800-766-2273. Tell them that you want the proceeds to go to Nightlight Christian Adoptions. They will pick up the car (towing it if necessary) without any charge to you, fix it up, sell it, and send Nightlight a check!

Nightlight Christian Adoptions is proud to be a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.  ECFA is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public’s trust through adherence to seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship. Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently in need of:

  • Russian and Chinese translators to help during our tours
  • Help with our Annual Gala Dinner
  • Help with our Winter and Summer Reunions
  • Help with our Summer Tour

Donations

Feel free to mail or drop off gifts for our birthparents (bath products, gift cards to Target, gas cards, phone cards, or anything else you think of). You may also drop off gifts for young children for our social workers to take with them when they visit various shelters in Southern California.

For the children who are not adopted or haven’t been placed with a family yet, Nightlight strives to make life a little brighter. Many of our client families and their friends generously donate:

  • new clothing
  • toys
  • toiletries

These items are put into Nightlight duffle bags and sent with our families when they travel to Russia or Kyrgyzstan to adopt their children. The bags come back to us empty and ready to be filled again for the next family to take over!

GoodSearch

Use GoodSearch to search the web! Enter Nightlight Christian Adoptions as your charity of choice and GoodSearch will donate to our agency!

The Tricycle Guild

Are you looking for a fun way to get involved in a service project? Look no further! Nightlight has formed a guild – a group of volunteers who will help plan our events, such as the Summer Reunion, the Golf Tournament, and the Gala Dinner. We have periodic gatherings to socialize and brainstorm, and more frequent meetings before our large events. Please call Kathryn Deiters at the office if you would like to get involved!
