Embryo Donation – Donating for LIFE!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart” (Jeremiah 1:5)

Just as each snowflake is frozen, unique and a gift from heaven, so are each of our Snowflakes Babies. We hope to help each donated embryo grow, develop and live a full life. In the intricate design of each flake of snow, we find the Creator reflecting the individual human heart.

  • Nightlight Christian Adoptions pioneered embryo adoption in 1997 with the creation of the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program
  • Over 700 babies have been born to their adoptive parents through successful Snowflakes placements
  • 1,600+ families have donated their remaining embryos through Snowflakes (sometimes referred to as leftover embryos or unused embryos)– allowing them to choose the family for their embryo gift
  • Embryo donation through Snowflakes allows you to select the family who will receive your embryo donation gift
  • Snowflakes will accept all embryos regardless of the length of time stored, the number of embryos remaining, family health history, etc.
  • Snowflakes has successfully matched all of our placing families with an adopting family. Will you choose to donate?

Why Choose Our Snowflakes Program?

The ever-increasing use of infertility treatments, particularly in vitro fertilization (IVF), has resulted in an unprecedented number of embryos in cryo-preservation. For the families who have remaining embryos they don’t plan to use, the only solution that gives the embryos an opportunity to live is donation for reproduction.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions is a licensed adoption agency with over 50 years of experience in helping to build families and solve family problems. We were the first licensed agency in the nation to provide for the adoption of embryos. The focus of Snowflakes is to reach out to those post-infertility patients who have been successful in conceiving and giving birth to children through in-vitro fertilization and are now confronted with the decision of planning the future for their frozen embryos.
