Job Title: Executive Director
Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 27: 13 is my life verse. The LORD gave this to me as I was waiting on a kidney and pancreas transplant in 2007. He miraculously healed me from 37 years of type 1 diabetes with this amazing gift. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. NKJV
Favorite Adoption Story: , I have several friends and family that have experienced the joy of domestic and international adoption, including a cousin that adopted sibling brother and sister from Russia 20 years ago. It’s such fun to see them annually at Christmas gatherings. We consider them our family; it’s remarkable how much they resemble their adoptive mom.
Education: I earned my BBA at Baylor University, also earning my secondary teaching certificate and thinking I was going to teach business and accounting. I ended up teaching adults instead. Then I earned my Master of Science degree in Technology, Training & Development from the University of North Texas.
Responsibilities: My top responsibilities as Texas Executive Director will be supervision of staff, providing the inspiration and insight to open doors that enable children to be adopted, and build the donor relationship in the Waco community.
