Job Title: Home Study Provider
Favorite Bible Verse: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)
Favorite Adoption Story: I worked with a waiting family who adopted a sibling group of three children, ranging in ages 2-8 years old. These children had previously been through a failed adoption and had many special needs. The family welcomed the children and sought out helpful services which allowed them to thrive in the home. The placement was not without its ups and downs, but the family was, and is, committed to these children!
Education: Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from The University of South Carolina. I was led to social work through a two year commitment with Teach for America. Since my TFA experience, I have spent five years working in foster care and adoptions.
Responsibilities: I will be responsible for writing domestic adoptive home studies for Nightlight Christian Adoptions in South Carolina.
