Favorite Adoption Story: In my international adoption experience I have had the opportunity to travel to countries and visit children in orphanage care. Although, this is sometimes a sad and disheartening experience, it also give me great pride and joy in the work that I do. There is no more of a wonderful feeling than being a small part of bringing together families who live a world apart.

Education: I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in social work and went on to receive my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana.

Responsibilities: I have supervision responsibilities for the Indiana Social Service employees and interns working in the domestic and international programs managed out of the Indiana office. I work with out of state home study providers reviewing home studies for various international country programs, in addition to presenting referral information to approved and waiting families who have received a referral on a child(ren).
