Favorite Adoption Story: I was adopted and never knew my biological father. My adoptive father passed away when I was 25 years old. My children’s father has chosen not to be in their lives. So I believe and I teach my children that our Father is in Heaven and He can love us like no other earthly father can.
Education: I am a graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Prior to working in the adoption field, I was a Child Welfare Investigator for Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
Responsibilities: I am privileged to be a part of Nightlight Christian Adoptions as an adoption caseworker in the Oklahoma office. I provide services to adoptive families as well as birth parents.
Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:16 – “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
Favorite Adoption Story: My favorite adoption story (so far) has been the first adoption I was able to assist with for the entire process! I was grateful to experience the birth mom’s love for her child, which guided her to place him with a gracious and supportive family. I’m blessed to have been a minor part in that child’s adoption journey and have been motivated ever since to continue this amazing work!

Favorite Adoption Story: There are so many. In addition to my own story of becoming a mom twice through international adoption, some adoption stories that stand out come from a group of pre-teen boys that I met while working in a welfare center overseas for several years. Several of these boys were adopted just weeks or even days before aging out, two were adopted by the same family, and one more became their cousin. It was amazing to see God work through volunteers and advocates to help bring these children and families together.
Education: Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida and has been working with families and children in the field of adoption and child welfare since 2007.
Responsibilities: As Executive Director, Angela oversees the programs of the Florida office, supervises its employees, and runs the day to day functioning of the Florida office.
Favorite Bible Verse: Lamentations 3:22-23 "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Education: BS in Psychology from Wilmington University in New Castle, DE; previously served in the Army
Responsibilities: Recruiting and serving expectant parents; building and maintaining good working relationships with community organizations, including child welfare agencies, pregnancy resource centers, local area hospitals, OB/GYN clinics, etc.
Favorite Adoption Story: My favorite adoption story is my #1 granddaughter, Mikaila. We welcomed her into our family when she was 2 years old. When my son married Mikaila’s mom, I have to say, we got a sweet package deal! After a year of marriage, my son adopted Mikaila, making her an official member of our family. She already had our hearts, she now has our name. Mikaila is 15 years old and a true delight! She has a younger brother and two cousins that adore her. I don’t know what our family would be like without her.
Education: BS, Interdisciplinary Studies; I have been a Licensed Child-Placing Agency Administrator since 2009.
Responsibilities: As the Director of Domestic Family Services, my duties are two fold: working with adoptive families, by coordinating the Orientation, Education, through the Initial Matching Process; and supervising Nightlight’s Domestic Family Coordinators.
Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vein conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking at your own interests but to the interests of others.”
Education: I received my Bachelor’s in social work from Asbury University in 2020 and completed my Master’s Degree in social work from Campbellsville University in 2021.
Responsibilities: I am the pregnancy counselor in the Kentucky office helping women navigate their pregnancy options, helping guide and support them through their adoption plan. I am also a home study and post adoption provider, working closely with adoptive families as they move through the adoption process.
Favorite Bible Verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Favorite Adoption Story: My favorite adoption story is our family’s adoption story. All three of our children are adopted (Current ages: 25, 22, and 14). Our older two children I adopted through a step-parent adoption when the boys were 6 and 8 years old. Our youngest, came home to us when she was 2 days old through a private domestic adoption. Having navigated the road of adoption personally, I find it one of my greatest privileges to help other families grow their family through adoption.
Education: Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Social Work from East Carolina University. Kim is also a Certified Adoption Investigator for the state of South Carolina.
Responsibilities: As the Renewed Hope Program Coordinator, Kim is responsible for providing services to families looking to dissolve their adoption as well as potential Renewed Hope adoptive parents for Nightlight Christian Adoptions. As a Certified Adoption Investigator, Kim is responsible for completing preplacement assessments for prospective adoptive families and post placement/adoption reports for families that have received their children for adoption.

Favorite Adoption Story: (so far:): My first infant placement with Nightlight was so special. I developed a really great relationship with the mom I was serving and ended up spending a few days with her in the hospital after she delivered. It was so fulfilling to be there for her and advocate on her behalf. Holding her sweet baby was a moment I’ll never forget! Now, the adoptive family keeps in touch with both birth parents - that little girl is so loved!
Education: I graduated from Concordia University Irvine in May 2024 with a BA in Behavioral Science - Sociology. I am currently pursuing my MSW at California Baptist University, and will be graduating the program in April 2026!
Responsibilities: I provide counseling to expectant parents, guiding them through their options, referring them to additional services, and eventually helping them create personalized adoption plans. As the primary agency contact for many pregnancy resource centers statewide, I collaborate with social work professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each mother I serve.
Favorite Bible Verse: A favorite Bible verse was given to me many years ago, a personal promise: Phil 4:19, Knowing that God will meet all my needs according to HIS glory in Christ's riches. And another favorite is John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart (fear not) I have overcome the world.
Favorite Adoption Story: One family who had 2 older adoptive children (in high school and middle school) who began fostering... and eventually added 2 more young boys to their family. They hadn't planned on 4 adoptions, but when the final 2 were adopted they had a huge celebration with the oldest girl (before she went off to college) and the 3 younger boys. They had a celebratory cake that was decorated like Monopoly... with each step made to show their life story around the edges, and how their family grew. The family was made up of blond-hair blue-eyed parents (she was average height, and he was really tall), the oldest--a platinum blond daughter who was going off to Oral Roberts University, an Asian-looking son (high school age) who loved baseball, the 2nd son (age 5 or 6) who looked as if he could have been their own biological son and had some special needs, and the baby- the one I placed with them in foster care. He came into their care about 8 days of age, and of course never left as he was immediately in his forever family. It was a beautiful family celebration. My other favorite adoption would be that of my cousin, Diana, She is my only female cousin, we were pen pals as kids.
Education: I have a MPA and BA in Social Work. A little interesting fact about me is I was in the Peace Corps in Zaire, Africa (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) years ago, right after college. I still can speak and understand a little bit of French.
Responsibilities: The Pregnancy Counselor is responsible for recruiting and serving expectant parents, enlightening expectant parents to give their babies and themselves the healthiest future possible. This employee also builds and maintains good working relationships with agency staff and community organizations,.
Favorite Bible Verse: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” Matthew 7:7 and “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” Philippians 4:13.
Favorite Adoption Story: I have had the privilege of being a part of many adoption stories, professionally and personally. Each story is unique and beautiful. The most beautiful story is how our Heavenly Father, Creator of the universe, adopted all of us as his sons and daughters.
Education: Regina holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Missouri State University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Responsibilities: Regina is a birthparent counselor and home study provider in Southwest Missouri. She serves both birth parents and adoptive families throughout each stage of the adoption process. Regina currently resides in Springfield, Missouri with her husband and two children. Regina enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, attending sporting events, and church functions.

Favorite Adoption Story: My favorite adoption story is the story that brought my little cousin to our family from Samoa.
