Domestic Adoption Webinars

These three online courses form a series about domestic adoptions, but they may be taken independently of each other and in any order. All three are taught by Laura Beauvais-Godwin, an adoptive mother and director of Nightlight's South Carolina office.

Domestic Adoptions: Talking to Your Child About Adoption (online)
A webinar to help adoptive parents and prospective adoptive parents prepare for the lifelong process of discussing adoption with their adopted children.
Domestic Adoptions: Relating to Birth Families (online)
A webinar that discusses each stage of the adoption and the ways that an adoptive family's relationship with the birthmother and birthfather develops as the adoption progresses.
Domestic Adoptions: Are We Ready to Adopt Transracially? (online)
A webinar exploring practical ways to help you determine whether adopting transracially is right for you.

A seminar held at Nightlight's California office, featuring a panel of adoptive parents and birthmothers who discuss openness in adoption.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) adoption agency, licensed by the states of California and South Carolina to provide adoption services, and is Hague Accredited through COA. Nightlight can perform adoption homestudies for residents of South Carolina and Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties).
